Communications, Research, and Publications

For more than 20 years, Will has worked as a writer and consultant specializing in natural resource policy, collaborative problem solving, and outdoor recreation. He is the author of eight books and co-author of The Western Confluence: A Guide to Governing Natural Resources (Island Press, 2004). Will has also published numerous articles in Consensus, Journal of American Forestry, Land Lines, National Civic Review, Public Land & Resources Law Review, SPIDR News, Western Planner, and other journals. He received a B.A. in English from the University of Montana and worked as a writer and editor for the U.S. Forest Service, Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation, and Montana Consensus Council.
