Our team consists of a small core staff, several consultants, and a number of organizational partners. Taken together, our team has significant experience with policy development and implementation; an in-depth substantive understanding of issues associated with the integration of social, economic, and environmental interests; and the objectivity and patience to work with people on complex, multi-party issues.
The Institute intentionally maintains a small staff. Such an arrangement allows us to maximize our flexibility and effectiveness, reduce overhead expenses, and build the right team for each project. Our key staff include:

Faculty Advisors
Several faculty at The University of Montana helped the Institute create a Natural Resource Conflict Resolution Program. There are currently five faculty members serving on the Academic Oversight Committee of the program. Additional faculty and staff provide valuable input and advice to the Insititute as members of the Ad Hoc University Advisory Committee.
