As an applied research center, the Institute seeks to build and share knowledge to (1) advance the theory and methods of collaborative governance; and (2) inform and invigorate public policy. The Institute works with faculty, consultants, and practitioners to conduct action-oriented research, and to gather, analyze, and transfer information and knowledge to citizens and leaders. To share our work, we produce practical guides, handbooks, and other publications, as well as scholarly articles and books. Our goal is to produce a mix of academic publications, policy reports, and citizen-friendly publications and newsletters.
